Project Overview

This 48 MW run-of-river hydroelectric project in Lao Cai Province generates clean electricity without creating a large reservoir. The facility diverts a portion of river flow through turbines before returning it downstream, minimizing environmental impact while displacing coal-fired electricity from Vietnam's grid. The project maintains natural river flow patterns and fish migration routes.
